No More Homeless Pets National Conference

Alley Cat Rescue attended the Best Friends Animal Society’s, No More Homeless Pets National Conference this past weekend. Over 11,000 animal supporters from over 170 organizations came together to share information and experiences and to inspire each other and their communities to continue the good fight for animals.

Over three days, individuals attended workshops, listened to panel speakers, and spent time establishing long-lasting connections and relationships within the rescue community. The ACR Team was excited to finally met Peter Wolf, the blogger behind VoxFelina and to hear Dr. Julie Levy speak about how to keep community cats out of shelters.

What a great conference and learning experience with so many encouraging stories of achievement and success. We were truly inspired to continue the fight to help community cats through the humane practice of trap-neuter-return (TNR). We hope your compassion for community cats will continue to grow along with ours.
